Bighorn Meadows Skating Rink Coming Soon!
December 18th, 2012Bighorn Meadows Resort is pleased to announce that it will offer free skating at the Resort from Christmas through to spring of 2013 (weather permitting). Please bring your skates and enjoy or new 1,500 square foot outdoor skating rink! The new skating rink will be located on the eastern edge of the courtyard between the Welcome Center and the 500 building. All guests of the resort are welcome. The rink will be open for skating from 8:00am to 10:00pm daily. Please note the skating rink is not supervised and it is intended for recreational skating only. No hockey sticks or pucks will be permitted.

September in the Valley
September 24th, 2012WOW, what a great summer of sun! Avid vacationers enjoyed warm summer days in September while they were out golfing, hiking, or soaking in the hot springs. Last weekend the Classic Cars ascended on Radium Hot Springs and treated all visitors to a great day of music, cars and vendors.
The weekend of September 28th brings the 2nd Annual Columbia Valley Salmon Festival. For more information check out: http://www.columbiasalmonfest.ca.
On Friday, September 28th, you can finish your evening off with the La Cafamore String Quartet with clarinetist Nicola Everton at Christ Church Trinity in Invermere at 7:30pm. Get your tickets at various locations in town for $15 or $20 at the door.
All golf courses in the valley are still open and in excellent shape so don’t forget to get out and enjoy a round!
