Canoe & Kayaking

Columbia River Outfitters offers great guided and self-guided float trips on the Columbia River. Discover the Columbia River Wetland’s secrets and facts about local bird, fish, reptiles and animal life.

Ziplining

Valley Zipline Adventures is located just 5 minutes south of Radium Hot Springs and is a fun and exciting activity for the whole family. With 7 lines through the forest and a racing line at the end – you know your adrenaline will be pumping!

Amusement Parks

Funtasia Fun Park offers a petting zoo, mini-golf course, spin and bump cars, a park and gardens to wander around.

Ozzie’s Amusements has everything for the family to enjoy! Go karts, bumper boats, and a beautifully landscaped 18 hole mini golf, par 43! Full concession for refreshments and treats.

Hot Springs

Radium Hot Springs Pools is a family-friendly facility with plenty of space to relax. Soak in the expansive hot pool or cool off in the kids swimming pool.

Fairmont Hot Springs Swim, dive, play or just soak; the water is a source of relaxation and rejuvenation for all ages.

Lussier Hot Springs contains natural pools along the river. This is a local favorite, located down Whiteswan Forestry Road and a short hike down to the Lussier River.

Wildlife Viewing

Northern Lights Wolf Centre –  Visit and interact with wolves! Your tour starts when you get there, no reservations required, the wolf pack is ready when you are. They offer a 25 minute interpretive talk about wolves and their role in the environment. Make sure you bring your camera! Located in Golden, BC and approximately 1 hour 20 minutes drive.

Horseback Riding

Luxor Corrals – Based just north of Edgewater, about 15 minutes north of Radium Hot Springs, Luxor Corrals offers trail rides from one to two hours in duration. Children 10 and up are welcome. Riding options in the area range from a one-hour trail ride to a multi-day backcountry adventure and all skill levels are welcome.

A/Z Trail Rides – Located just past Fairmont Hot Springs. Individual attention and consideration is given to each client with customize trips to suit your needs and desires. Group sizes are kept small: 4 – 8 participants, to ensure a more personal experience for each client and to maintain a manageable group size for your safety.

Beaches & Swimming

Windermere Lake is one of the most popular swimming lakes in the area with Kinsmen Beach located just through the town of Invermere which will soon include a splash park! Lots of sun, sand, and splashing!

James Chabot Provincial Park has a sunny sandy beach on Lake Windermere and is located in Athalmer. This park also offers a great playground, volleyball court, and elevated boardwalk.

Lake Lillian, on the road to Panorama Mountain Village, has a great picnic area and beach with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. This is a great place to try fishing, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

Warm Columbia Lake is located about 20 minutes south of Radium Hot Springs and also offers some great beaches for playing, swimming, and splashing around.
