Where is Bighorn Meadows Resort located?

Bighorn Meadows Resort is located in the Village of Radium Hot Springs, British Columbia, within the beautiful Columbia Valley. The resort sits along the Springs Golf Course and is just a few minutes from the world-famous Radium Hot Springs Pools.

Do suites have full kitchens?

Yes — nearly all suites feature fully equipped kitchens with appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils. Our smaller Guest Room units include a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, sink and dishes.

What are the amenities at the Resort?

Bighorn Meadows Resort features a seasonal outdoor pool (open May long weekend to Thanksgiving weekend), two outdoor hot tubs, fitness room, and meeting space for up to 40 guests.

Is daily houskeeping included?

Daily housekeeping service is not provided during your stay. Our team completes a full clean after departure, but guests are welcome to request refreshed linens, towels, or additional amenities anytime. Just contact the front desk and we’ll be happy to help.

Is the resort wheelchair accessible?

Some suites offer ground-level access, and select units accommodate mobility needs. Guests requiring accessible features should inquire directly before booking.

Are there playpens and high chairs to rent?

Yes, please let us know before you arrive if you would like to rent and a high chair or playpen, we have a limited number of these items on site. The rental fee is $15/night plus tax for each. 

Does the resort have Wi-Fi?

Yes! All of our accommodations have complimentary wireless internet access.

Is parking free?

Yes — complimentary on-site parking is provided for registered guests.

How do you guarantee my reservation?

Guests must be 19 years of age and have a valid credit card to make a reservation. The same credit card must be provided upon check-in.

Deposits – In order to guarantee your reservation, a deposit is required with every booking at Bighorn Meadows Resort. Please ask our Guest Services Agents about the deposit required when making a reservation direct. If booking online, the deposit policy will be clearly listed beside each rate. If you have any questions, our team is always happy to help. 

Online Travel Agents – Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate booked. Here is some information on each type of cancellation policy we offer at our Resort:

Flexible Rates – Reservations must be canceled prior to 72 hours of arrival to receive a full deposit refund. Cancellations received within 72 hours will forfeit the deposit.

Non-Refundable Rates – Payment is required in full at time of booking. If you change or cancel your reservation, you will not get a refund or credit to use for a future stay.

Long Term Rate – The deposit is fully refundable up to 30-days prior to arrival. Cancellations received within 30-days will forfeit the first month's deposit.

Online Travel Agents – Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third party travel professionals are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies

 

Can I make changes to my reservation?

Please note that a change in the length or dates of your reservation may result in a rate change.

When can I check -in/check-out?

Check-in time is 4:00p.m. MST. If you’re going to check-in after hours, please call the resort in advance for check-in procedures.
Checkout time is 10:00a.m. MST. If you require a late checkout, please contact the Front Desk and we will do our best to accommodate you (late checkout fees are applicable)

What is the early check-in and late check-out policy?

Early Check-In: Check-ins prior to 4:00 PM PST cannot be guaranteed. Guests are welcome to contact our team on the day of arrival to request early access. If your suite is ready, we’ll be happy to accommodate. Please note that early check-in fees apply. 

Late Check-Out: All late check-out requests must be approved in advance of your departure date. Late check-out fees apply.

    What are the front desk hours of operation?
    • Daily – July & August

    Do the units have air conditioning?

    Not all of our Guest Room Suites (Studio Units) offer Air Conditioning but all 1, 2, & 3 bedroom suites do. If you require AC in a Guest Room Suite, please make sure you request this option when making a reservation.

    Are laundry facilities included?

    Most suites include an in-unit washer and dryer, with the exception of our Guest Room suites.

    Does the resort have a restaurant?

    There is no restaurant directly on-site, however Radium Hot Springs offers several restaurants, cafés, and pubs just minutes from the resort. Find out more info here >>>

    Are EV chargers available?

    At this time, EV charging is not available at our Resort, however, there is an EV charging station 1KM away in front of the Radium Hot Springs Centre on Stanley Street.

    Do you offer special promotions or packages?

    Do you offer group rates or block bookings?

    Yes — group accommodations are available for weddings, sports teams, reunions, and corporate retreats. Find out more info here >>>

    What is the pet policy?

    Unfortunately, no pets are allowed in the units or on the resort grounds, with the exception of certified companion or guide dogs. We recommend Rocky Mountain Pet Resort & Spa located in Edgewater, 250-347-9911, as a place for your dog or cat to lodge during your stay.

    Guests who bring pets into unauthorized units will face a charge of $500 to deep clean the accommodation following their stay.

    Can I smoke while staying at the Resort?

    Tobacco smoking and vaping is allowed only in designated outdoor areas and not inside the units or on the balconies or patios. A charge will be incurred if you are discovered smoking in one of the vacation rental suites.

    Cannabis smoking is prohibited in ALL areas of the Resort property. A charge will be incurred if you are discovered smoking cannabis in one of the suites or ANYWHERE on the Resort.

    What are the additional person fees?

    All pricing for suites is based on the below occupancies. If you have more guests in your suite than the occupancy listed below, there will be an additional charge of $25.00 (plus tax) per person per night.

    • Queen Guest Room & 1 Bedroom Suite – Based on double occupancy
    • 2 Bedroom Suite, 2 Bedroom Townhome & 1 Bedroom Loft Suite – Based on triple occupancy
    • 3 Bedroom Suite, 3 Bedroom Townhome & 2 Bedroom Loft Suite – Based on quad occupancy

    Please note, children 17 & under are excluded from the additional person fee.

    What happens if I damage the suite?

    Each vacation rental suite at Bighorn Meadows Resort is a privately owned vacation home and we hope that you enjoy it as your own during your stay.  Please note that the renter will be liable for any items are missing or damaged during their stay and the replacement costs will be charged to the credit card on the reservation.

    What is the Environmental Fee?

    The Environmental Fees True Key Hotels & Resorts collects from our rental guests contribute to the sustainability and preservation of the natural environment surrounding our resorts. These fees help offset the costs of various eco-friendly initiatives and regulatory expenses, including but not limited to recycling programs, bulk bath amenities, provincial carbon taxes, environmentally safe chemicals, high-efficiency laundry equipment, electric golf carts, collection of returnable beverage containers, printed guest orientation materials, energy-efficient office equipment and appliances, employee training, energy consumption monitoring, and other environmental conservation efforts.
